Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
